Microsoft.com

Through various studies we realized many of our customers preferred buying Microsoft's products from Best Buy over our own online store.

The goal of Microsoft's signature pages was to create an immersive and interactive product experience in order to bring our customers back to the main site. We created these sites by breaking them down into 3 parts.

The Reveal

I collaborated with Sam Webber, to build a series of opening animations for each of our hardware devices. Each animation should feel cohesive but still speak to the feeling of each product.

I built a library of Microsoft's First-Party hardware devices within Cinema 4D compatible with the Redshift and Octane render engines.

I worked closely with the hardware team to either model or find usable assets of each device. Then, I textured and rigged each device as well as built a few customizable stages in order to render out assets for concepts with quick turn-arounds.

Immersion

As the user scrolls down, we begin setting the stage. We crafted visuals that created a visceral and emotional reaction in order to elevate the beauty of our devices.

Clarity

As the user's journey comes to a finish, we crafted unique data visualizations in order to encourage users to imagine what it is like to own and use the product.
